Project Description: The project consists of rural road shoulder widening for vehicular safety, re-establishment of drainage ditches, improvement of sight distance by lowering the roadway and grading slopes on the inside of specific curves. 
                            
General Location: Pavement widening at two locations. Location 1 begins at the intersection of Deer Valley Road and Marsh Creek Road, and ends 1000’ north of the intersection. Location 2 begins 2300’ north of intersection to 3300’ north of intersection within a reversing curve.

DBE Program:
This project is partially funded by federal funds from U.S. Department of Transportation.  The prospective bidders are required to comply with 49 Code of Regulations (CFR) Part 26.  The prospective bidders must meet the project-specific  Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal or document the Good Faith Effort (GFE) process.  It is important to note that to comply with the County DBE program’s Good Faith Effort, the bidders must take certain actions a minimum of 15 days prior to bid opening.
