EDP Update - July 10, 2009

As of July 10, 2009, State Registered Warrants (IOU’s) will not be accepted by banks and will be returned to the county unpaid. Please do not deposit State Registered Warrants at any bank.

Registered warrants will be identified with the word “REGISTERED” printed on the face of the warrant. It will also contain a special endorsement stamp on the reverse side. If you receive a registered warrant, please follow these instructions:

1. DO NOT DEPOSIT THE WARRANT AT ANY BANK.

2. PREPARE A SINGLE ELECTRONIC DEPOSIT PERMIT (EDP) FOR THE AMOUNT OF EACH REGISTERED WARRANT – AS A RECEIVABLE.

3. DEPOSIT THE WARRANT TO THE COUNTY TREASURER’S OFFICE ONLY
