Her most recent employment was with the East Bay Economic Development Alliance, a regional public-private organization focused on promoting business opportunity, innovation and quality of life in the East Bay. She has a Master of Social Work degree with heavy emphasis on community organization, planning and administration from the University of Southern California. Anne also holds a B.S. in Human Development from the University of California, Davis.
Lia Bristol serves as Deputy Chief of Staff. Prior to joining Supervisor Mitchoff’s office, Lia worked as a Representative to a State Senator. During her tenure there, she convened the East Bay Autism Regional Task Force and was staff to the Senate Select Committee on Autism and Related Disorders.
Lia began her work in the area of health policy while working at The Greenlining Institute in Berkeley as a Health Program Manager, primarily focused on advocacy and research.
Lia has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside as well as her Masters Degree in Leadership from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga.
Lisa Chow serves as a District Representative. Prior to joining Supervisor Mitchoff’s office, Lisa worked as an executive assistant for a California State Senator and Assemblyman. Lisa’s background also includes working for local small businesses, and also as an editor for a local wedding photographer.
Lisa attended California State University, Sacramento and has lived in Contra Costa County since 2004.
Lindy Lavender serves as a District Representative. Prior to joining Supervisor Mitchoff’s staff, Lindy worked for the University of Oregon’s Online Education department and for a State Senator. Lindy is passionate about public safety and education issues and is grateful for the opportunity to work in public service.
Lindy was born and raised in District IV and holds a B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Public Administration.
Dominic Aliano is a Concord native and grew up in District IV. Dominic attended K-12 schools in Concord, moved on to Diablo Valley College for two years and transferred to Whitworth University in Eastern Washington. He holds a B.A. in Political Science.
Upon graduating college, Dominic came back home and worked on several local State Assembly and State Senate campaigns. Dominic joined Supervisor Mitchoff’s staff as a District Representative in August 2015. He is proud to be a District IV native and honored to be serving his community.
