Santa Event at Buchanan Field
Every December, Santa Claus takes time out of his busy schedule to "drop in" and visit children of all ages at Buchanan Field Airport. The event is held at the Public Viewing Plaza located at the end of John Glenn Drive in Concord.
Admission is free to the public. Individuals who would like to take a picture with Santa are encouraged to donate a canned food item, which Airport staff then delivers to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
