Peace, Love & Veggies -- Congratulations on the success of the 2014 "Counties Care Food Fight Challenge" to support the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano Counties.

The 2014 campaign resulted in a major milestone -- Contra Costa employees have now raised more than one million dollars on behalf of the Food Bank.  Find out the latest at the Food Fight Challenge website.

Conservation and Development was the lead department for 2014, and we owe staff there a huge thank you for coordinating the efforts of last year's campaign.  The 2014 theme?  "Giving is Brilliant" -- and giving indeed describes the more than 500 employees who stepped up to help those in need by making charitable donations.    Find out more at the Combined Charities website.
