Spearheading the County's healthy vending machine ordinance that requires all county vending machines to be stocked with at least 50% "healthy" food and beverage choices.
Supporting changes to the "built environment" to promote physical activity and wellness in our every-day lives, such as building and enhancing biking and walking paths, improving public transit, and improving safety in parks and on streets.
Working with the West Contra Costa Unified School District to establish school health clinics at all high schools in the district.
