San Pablo Dam Road Sidewalk Gap Project

Project Description:  The project will fill in four gaps in pedestrian infrastructure on San Pablo Dam Road from Appian Way to Clark Road for a total of 1420 feet. Gap 1 is located on the south Side San Pablo Dam Road (approximately 450’ east of Appian Way to 620’ east of Appian Way). Gap 2 is on the north side of San Pablo Dam Road from the Milton Drive intersection to 230’ east of Milton Drive. Gap 3 is on the south side of the street, (500’ west of Clark Road to 300’ west of Clark Road). Gap 4 is on the north side of the street (820’ west of Clark Road to Clark Road).  Construction in each gap includes removing obstacles before constructing curb, gutter, and sidewalk as well as some drainage features.

DBE Program: This project is partially funded by federal funds from U.S. Department of Transportation.  The prospective bidders are required to comply with 49 Code of Regulations (CFR) Part 26.  The prospective bidders must meet the project-specific Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (UDBE) goal or document the Good Faith Effort (GFE) process.  It is important to note that to comply with the County DBE program’s Good Faith Effort, the bidders must take certain actions a minimum of 15 days prior to bid opening.
