Delta Counties Coalition Reaffirms Strong Opposition to Twin Tunnels Proposal

With the July 29th deadline concluded for submission of public comments on Governor Brown's controversial Bay Delta Conservation Plan, the Delta Counties Coalition has issued its formal response to State officials. The Coalition clearly outlined why the multi-billion dollar proposed tunnel project is fundamentally flawed on multiple levels related to environmental and economic impact, cost, design, feasibility and the impact on farms, homes, water and land.

Contra Costa County Launches New Way to Pay Child Support

Contra Costa County Child Support Services is proud to be the first county in the state to partner with MoneyGram, which operates in thousands of locations throughout the country. This allows parents who don't have conventional bank accounts to quickly and securely make payments from around the country, and have those funds available to the custodial parent.
