Yes, Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Outreach is available for contracts under $50,000 for purchasing (e-Outreach) and professional services, and under $25,000 for construction contracts. SBE Program

4. How do I file a discrimination complaint?

You may either contact your department's Affirmative Action Coordinator, the County's Affirmative Action Officer or the Merit Board for a copy of the Discrimination Complaint Form.

5. What are your contracting opportunities?

Each County department is responsible for implementing contracts in their department and the Affirmative Action Office implements and monitors the contracting programs in the County. Contact the SBE and Outreach Liaisons.

6. Does the County offer Outreach Contracting Programs?

Yes! The Outreach Program is for contracts greater than $50,000 for purchasing and professional/personal services and also for construction contracts exceeding $100,000. For details, visit Outreach Contracting Programs.

7. Does the County offer a purchasing program?

Contra Costa offers an e-Outreach Purchasing Program administered by the General Services Department, Purchasing Division. The program is for contracts at and exceeding $10,000. To learn more, visit the General Services Department.

8. Does the County offer Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Programs?

Yes. Contra Costa's DBE Program covers Highways (FHWA) and airports (FAA). For more information visit: DBE Programs.

9. How do I request reasonable workplace accommodations?

Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), employees may request reasonable accommodations by contacting their supervisor and department ADA Coordinator. Or, employees may contact the Risk Management ADA Coordinator at (925) 335-1436 or 335-1406.
