You Have Selected Fluorescent Light Bulbs - Compact

Compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs contain mercury, which is considered hazardous and therefore it is illegal to dispose of them with regular trash. However, fluorescent light bulbs are better for the environment because they are more energy efficient than regular incandescent light bulbs. Over the lifetime of a 28-watt fluorescent light, it produces 1,020 pounds less carbon dioxide which is equal to saving 53 gallons of gasoline.
