You
may notice some new containers in ten County Parks. In 2001, the California Department of Conservation has awarded the County
a grant to place new recycling containers in these Parks. These containers will be conveniently
located adjacent to most of the existing garbage cans. Using the new park recycling containers, you
can recycle any beverage container with the California Redemption Value label,
including the following items:
These
recycling containers are made with recycled plastic lumber. Recycled plastic lumber is made from plastic
grocery bags and bottles. Every time
you recycle and buy recycled products, you are helping the environment.
