| Coordinating County transportation policies with cities and federal, state, and regional agencies. |
| Providing staff support to the Board of Supervisors’ Transportation, Water and Infrastructure Committee. |
| Providing staff support to the TRANSPLAN Committee, which coordinates transportation planning issues for the cities of Antioch, Brentwood, Oakley, Pittsburg and the surrounding unincorporated area. |
| Providing transportation planning support to the Redevelopment Agency and the Advanced Planning Division. |
| Administering the trip reduction ordinance and related programs for County work sites and the unincorporated area. |
| Administering growth management requirements for the unincorporated area. |
| Maintaining transportation and related databases for travel forecasting and growth management. |
