The Contra Costa County Community Development Department is hosting a community walking tour and workshop to gather your ideas on how to improve pedestrian and bicycle access to the Pleasant Hill BART station (generally from Bancroft to BART). The outcome of this effort will be a preferred design for a new shortcut path and signage. 

This process is being conducted in cooperation with the cities of Concord and Walnut Creek, BART and the Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency. MIG and Beneficial Designs have been selected to assist in the development of a preferred design of the new shortcut path and signage/wayfinding system. 

Walking Tour Saturday, November 15, 2003 10:00 - 11:30am Meet at the Corner of Cherry Lane and Las Juntas In the event of rain, a slideshow/video tour will be held at the Coggins Square Apartments - see location detail below. Feel free to attend this tour or download the walking tour booklet and do the tour at a time of your choosing-see details below. Workshop Tuesday, November 18, 2003 7:00 - 9:00 Meet at Coggins Square Apartments Community Room, 3rd Floor 1316 Las Juntas (Corner of Las Juntas and Coggins) Enter 1118 in the keypad at the door to gain entry. The first workshop will focus on: Alternative routes Neighborhood connections Identification of immediate areas of concern
