The Contra Costa County Open Space Funding Authority has initiated an assessment ballot proceeding that allows property owners within Contra Costa County to decide if assessments may be levied on property for park, recreation and open space purposes, such as:

·        State and Regional Parks

·        Neighborhood Parks and Urban Recreation

·        Creeks, Streams and Watersheds

·        Open Space and Undeveloped Lands

·        Farmlands

·        Historic Structures and Cultural Resources

·        Shorelines and Marshes of the Bay and Delta

·        Trails and Public Access to Recreational Areas

·        Wildlife Habitat and Wildlife Corridors
