BAY POINT COMMUNITY BASED TRANSPORTATION PLAN
The Bay Point Community Based
Transportation Plan (Spanish
Version) was developed in 2006 by working with Bay Point residents,
businesses and service providers to highlight ten key transportation
recommendations. The Community Development Department is now working with
other agencies to make these recommendations a reality.
TRANSPORTATION LEGISLATIVE PLATFORM FOR 2007
The Board of Supervisors adopts a legislative platform each year with specific
goals, including transportation
goals. We works with our State legislators to try and accomplish these
goals through legislation.
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS -
RODEO TOWN PLAZA SITE
The Contra Costa County Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") is seeking a
master developer for the 1.5 acre Rodeo Town Plaza site consisting of three
Agency owned properties. The Agency anticipates that this project would
incorporate a Rodeo Town Plaza, as well as a combination of residential and
commercial uses. (Release

FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT (EIR) FOR CONOCO PHILLIPS CLEAN FUELS
EXPANSION PROJECT AVAILABLE
A Final EIR for the ConocoPhillips
Clean Fuels Expansion Project was completed in April 2007 and can be viewed
on-line. This proposed project involves addition of new facilities and
modification of existing facilities to produce additional clean fuels.

ZT06-0003)
Proposed zoning text amendment and related general plan
amendment will be heard by the County Planning Commission on April 24th at
7:00pm. Staff report and related
materials are available online.
NEW PLANNING SERVICES AVAILABLE
Community Development is expanding services to West County. Effective
April 2, 2007, appointments
can be schedule to meet with a Planner in El Sobrante/El Cerrito.
Earlier this year services were expanded to East County, appointments
can be scheduled to meet with a Planner in the Brentwood office. The
services provided include: planning approval, zoning questions, general
plan questions and preliminary submittals (building permit services currently
only available at East County appointments).
Mapping Archives
The Community Development Department is involved in many different
activities and projects which have a mapping component to them. The Mapping
Archives provides a central location to find and view maps generated by the
Community Development Department.
