Food Fight Pits Contra Costa against Solano
County
to
Aid Food Bank
The
Board of Supervisors accepted the annual challenge of Solano County to see which
county can raise the most money and donations of food to assist the Food Bank of
Contra Costa and Solano to help those in need. The food drive will take place between November 24th and
December 25th.
Virtually every Contra
Costa
County
department, approximately 7,500 employees, has taken on the challenge to meet a
goal of $9 per employee.
To learn how you can help either by donating food or money, call the Food Bank
at 925-676-7543, visit their website
at www.foodbankccs.org,
or call the Supervisor’s office at 925-335-1046.
Thank
you for your generosity!
