Typical Duties
Network Analyst I
Contra Costa Health Services is seeking a Network Analyst I to perform network monitoring, design for network additions and expansions, configuration of network equipment, some network administration, and some NT and Unix system administration.
Network Administrator I
Contra Costa Health Services is seeking a Network Administrator I to perform network monitoring, NT administration, e-mail administration, and some network equipment configuration and troubleshooting.
HS IS Programmer/Analyst*
The Health Services Information Systems Programmer/Analysts perform senior level work, working independently, designing complex databases and multi-tier applications using the latest Microsoft development tools. If you enjoy creating hot web front-ends for SQL databases, showcasing your talents developing innovative Visual Basic applications, or developing large, multi-user networked applications, then this may be just the job you're looking for.
Network Technician II
Here's the chance to hone your wide-area networking skills. If you're the hands-on type, and like a good challenge, then this is the place for you. This position offers you the opportunity to set up wide-area network links, install and configure routers, bridges, and other telecommunications equipment, and a chance to show off your troubleshooting skills in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.

* Management positions: Of the positions listed above, the following are considered management positions, and are eligible for management benefits. Network Analyst I & II, Network Technician II, HS IS Programmer/Analyst, Network Manager, Telecommunications Manager.

** These positions are also eligible for an additional 2 salary steps for performance pay, of approximately 5% each.
