The Young Adult Empowerment Center, located at 50 Silver in North Richmond, offers free job and life skills training and support for young adults (16 to 27).  Classes include resume writing, computer skills, and career planning. The center is a collaboration of Supervisor Gioia's office, several county departments including the Redevelopment Agency; the Workforce Development Board, the Housing Authority, Contra Costa County, and several community nonprofits.
