Funding, Joint Use Criteria & Landscape Element
The Financial Element
- Identifies potential sources of funding
- Provides information on the costs of maintaining and landscaping the corridor
- Suggests strategies for obtaining funding
The Financial Element will help guide the County's future investment decisions in the Iron Horse Corridor.
Joint Use Criteria and Standards
This element of the program is a set of guidelines and policies that ensure compatibility between new proposed uses of county-owned property (such as the Iron Horse Corridor) and the existing and committed uses that the County has for the property.
The Joint Use Criteria apply generally to all county-owned property but were written largely with the Iron Horse Corridor in mind.
The Landscape Element contains recommendations and guidelines identifying the type of landscaping that can be accommodated in the corridor, including a palette of acceptable plants and concepts for landscaping in different segments of the corridor.
