Amateur Raido Communications (ARC)
Overview
The Sheriff's ARC Team coordinates and provides communications support for many of the special events and incidents that the Sheriff's Office is involved in. The members of the ARC Team participate in almost all of the Sheriff's activities, as every event requires communications support of some type.

The ARC Team manages the radio, video, and electronic equipment of the Volunteer Services Section and operates the Sheriff's Mobile Command Post. By providing these services, the ARC Team supports the activities of both full-time and volunteer Sheriff's Office employees. In times of emergency, the ARC Team also staffs the communication systems within the Office of Emergency Services.
