San Pablo Dam Road Sidewalk Improvements
Project No.: 0662-6R4051
The purpose of the San Pablo Dam Road Walkability and Community Enhancement Project is to create a pedestrian-friendly town center for El Sobrante. The project includes reconstruction of approximately ¾ of a mile of combined length of sidewalk along the north and south sides of San Pablo Dam Road between Appian Way and Hillcrest Road. The project will improve walkability by providing a pedestrian facility compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project will include replacement of trees that have failed over the years, and provide for a potted landscaping program to further enhance aesthetics in the business area. The project will also relocate four bus stops to improve access to transit.
The Project is currently in the design phase.
