The Government Corruption section of the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office investigates and prosecutes complaints against local governmental officials and employees for offenses, such as:
- Conflict of interest
- Bribery
- Perjury
- Theft
- Misuse of public funds
- Willful misconduct in office
- Brown Act violations
- Election / campaign law violations
- Voting fraud
